I love Jerry Seinfeld and was looking forward to the show

I was disappointed.I was seated high above the stage to the right hand side in the first row by the balcony edge. I have a hearing loss, use powerful hearing aids and used one of your listening devices. The problem was not the level of sound but its unevenness. Because both comedians used a hand-held mike that they seemed to pump up and down close to their mouth and then away, the volume got unbearably loud or too soft. The warm-up comedian talked very very fast and all I could get was he was talking about marriage. The couple next to me, not hearing challenged, also did not catch his monologue. Mr. Seinfeld was much better but not perfect. I could catch some bits that I had heard before (in Brooklyn, on Long Island, etc.) but others I would miss. I wonder why in a theater they don't use the mikes taped to their face as they do on Broadway where I don't have this trouble and maybe hold the traditional mike in their hand for a prop. I cannot be the only person to have this experience. This seems to be not the performers' problem, but the theater's sound crew. The theater staff was very kind and helpful. I exited to the Amsterdam side and then a kind black male employee guided me against the crowd so I could retrieve my drivers license.
